Executive Director and Founder
Amelia’s love for horses blossomed at the tender age of five during a visit to a petting zoo. Her journey through life has been shaped by challenges, yet she firmly believes that God and her beloved horses have been her anchors through it all. Through His guidance, she has come to understand the profound need for people to experience the love of Jesus.
A decade ago, as a freshman at Liberty University, Amelia began to envision a ministry that would combine her faith and her passion for horses. She is convinced this is her God-given calling, and despite the trials she has faced, she has remained steadfast in her dream, trusting in His plan every step of the way.

Director of Operations
Katie grew up around horses and they have always been there when she needed. She went to Liberty University and studied Elementary Education. It wasn’t until she met Amelia and heard of Eternal Hope’s mission that she decided the classroom was not for her. She has been through many trials but horses help her remember the unwavering love of Jesus. After joining Eternal Hope as a volunteer she decided she wanted a bigger role to help share the Gospel alongside the horses.

Samson
He is a Clydesdale standing at 17.2 hands, or 5'10 at the shoulder blades. We rescued him a little over a year ago from quite a sad situation. His owner had passed away so he was left with family members who knew nothing about horses. He was severely underweight and covered in scratches on his legs. Unfortunately he is suffering from Chronic progressive lymphedema, CPL, which is a chronic degenerative leg disease, that sadly has no cure. We are trying to keep him as healthy and happy as possible! His favorite things are being brushed, fed, or cozying in for a nap!

Ritsaert
This black beauty is a barn favorite everywhere he goes. He is only 8 years old but he has a rare genetic disease that prevents him from being the performance horse he was bred to be. However his purpose is not lost! We believe because he is wounded he can teach others that imperfections don’t make you who you are, but your actions and impact on the world make you who you are. He is proving everyday that each one of us have a purpose much deeper than the obvious. His favorite activities are following you around and giving hugs. His favorite treats are bananas!

Zeb
Zeb is our littlest member but don't let that fool you, he loves just as much as our big boys. He is a barn favorite with adults and kids alike! He's 11 years old and never met a person he doesn't like. His favorite things are peppermints, cuddles, and giving kisses.
-
Cobalt
Cobalt is our oldest horse but don’t let his age fool you! He is full of personality and loves to prance in the field. Some days you can find him laying down sunbathing! He does best with only adults.
-
Luna
Luna is our only pony and has the personality to prove it. She struggles with anxiety and can be stressed in the pasture. However, participants are healing her with every session! We love watching her break through her anxiety and bond with those around her.
-
Lucy
Lucy struggles with anxiety and trust. When we first rescued her we could not get near her at all! She has come a long way but does best one - on - one with adult particpants!
-
Oatsie
Oatsie is our tallest miniature horse and is technically a pony but he rounds out our mini herd! He is very head strong and stubborn but he finds a friend in everyone he meets.
